Two mixed use development projects which are currently unfolding within KARL are joint-ventures based in Belfast and Bangor, one of which is the recently launched £45m development – Obel - at Donegall Quay, Belfast. This will be the tallest building project in Northern Ireland standing at 26 levels and incorporating 182 apartments, a hotel and 41,000 sqft of commercial offices suites, with retail and leisure on the ground floor and private basement car-parking. The other mixed use development is situated at Queen’s Parade, Bangor, and will also be in the region of £50m and will house a family entertainment area, food hall, two levels of retail, a theatre / multi purpose venue and 60 apartments, many of which overlook the marina and have views to the open sea.
